Here are four pockets of culture that have moved and inspired me greatly of late.
Book: Killing and Dying (Adrian Tomine, 2015) Recording: Reward (Cate Le Bon, 2019) TV Series: Barry (Alec Berg & Bill Hader, 2018 - HBO) Documentary: Jay Myself (Stephen Wilkes, 2019)

“If you want to make more interesting pictures, become a more interesting person.” – Jay Maisel
I was fortunate to watch a fantastic and inspired new art documentary called Jay Myself. Its subject is renowned photographer Jay Maisel, and an epic fifty-year uproot of co-existing with the creative process and collecting in a six story, 35,000 sq. foot bank building in Manhattan. Oh, and if your spouse or someone ever tells you there’s an issue or illness with your collecting, show them this.
