@jaymzcatfield that too. but like I think the main draw back on that album, for me personally at least, is the way it sounds???? like I get what they were trying to do but my ears after a while are just like,, girl.. stop lmao and I guess it’s the same thing with DM cause I tend to see a lot of people not liking the way it sounds even though, again for me, I don’t see anything wrong with it?? but like, let’s just stop pretending like HTSD is their “big heavy comeback” when they’ve been heavy

4. Beyond Magnetic: yes? no? would you put some song back in Death Magnetic? Beyond Magnetic is a yes from me!! i think i actually like all of those songs more than most of the ones on DM (???) .... but then again, i'm not the biggest DM fan, sorry.

i feel like i've sort of mentally merged the EP into DM (i'll usually put them on shuffle together), but i don't think i'd put any songs back. i like keeping Beyond separate, it has an interesting flavour on its own.

25. fav HTSD lyrics? Here Comes Revenge isn't musically my favourite off the album.... but "little grave i'm grieving, i will mend you // sweet revenge i'm dreaming, i will end you" absolutely KILLS every time.

i think about "rapid is the road to sacrifice // just takes longer to come home" a lot, too. Confusion hits me deep for some reason, it's just... the all-around PTSD mood i guess 😳

28. Is your fashion sense more in line with which member? (you can also specify the era) i think i'm probably most closely aligned with ~mid 80s james, but like.... only when he's offstage & looking comfy

I know, I’m horrible like that; I feel like a pest so i have a tendency to just plop it in the tags aha 😅 I found the reddit post about the article though (for some reason the actual article won’t load for me; might be on my end 🤷‍♀️) But yeah… What was the inspiration of just wanting to have Metallica toasters? Like does he have a box full of toasters? Does he just find the idea of engraved toasters amazing? Like why?
