WIP Wednesday! How do people stay with one fandom? How do people stay on one WIP at a time? I’m over here with more WIPs than I can count and too many fandoms to comfortably list but whatever. Little ABO Firefly WIP bit.
Jayne froze, glancing down, he hadn't even realized he had moved his hand from stroking Simon's back to pressing his fingers into the tense muscles on the back of Simon's neck and brushing his fingers into the soft hairs at his nape. Simon's breathing was still irregular as he snuffled at the base of Jayne's neck, letting the alpha's scent soothe him.
"Nice and red." River's voice drew everyone's attention to herself. She was still studying Simon and Jayne as if they were curious bugs she had discovered. "When Simon comes back. Jayne thinks he's pretty in red."
"Riiiight." Mal spoke slowly then turned his gaze back to Jayne, trying to judge if there was a risk of Jayne stabbing Simon over this or not.
"It's not something he did on purpose." Inara also turned her gaze on Jayne who narrowed his gaze on her and Mal.
"I know that." Jayne snarled. "How stupid do you think I am?"
"Don't answer that dear." Zoe placed her hand on Wash's mouth when he opened it.
