I love OG skam and the remakes are so dope but damn is Skam España just hitting me right in the feels. Representation really does matter. Cris is doing so many of the things I did when i was struggling with my sexuality.

I remember getting so offended and defensive at anyone even isinuating I might like girls. There was so much internalized homophobia I had that I had to work through. Down to even overcompensating with my femininity just bc for some reason being sportier or into more casual clothing suddenly felt like i was a walking billboard. I love love love what they’re doing with this remake.

Even tho it’s hard to watch right now. I can’t wait to see this evolution for Cris. My bb deserves happiness. And I’m hella happy they’re showing wlw/mlm solidarity and making Lucas her version of Eskild. Although, a cool older lesbian/bi would’ve been dope too!
