Gryffindor ask game 16,19

Well, since you haven’t specified character, I’ll just chose myself if you don’t mind

-What made you think that was a good idea?- asks Rowan in a high pitched voice. They had just witnessed the most ridiculous thing they could possibly imagine. People walk thought the many stairs you can find in the grand staircase, it’s the logical thing, right? well, not to Neon Welkin, apparently, because she had just jumped from one moving staircase above them to the one Rowan was in, robes swaying elegantly after her, and she had landed on the railing before dropping herself down as if nothing.

-Well, I wasn’t so much thinking about this as I was thinking “I’m late”- she shrugs like it’s nothing.Rowan simply pinches the bridge of their nose exasperated

-This has to be the most reckless thing you’ve done.

When Neon doesn’t answer and stands there before looking somewhere else, hand behind her neck, Rowan wants to be the one jumping off the staircase

-I... what? oh Merlin. What’s the most reckless thing you’ve ever done, then?

They really thought they knew enough about Neon to have that answer, but apparently there’s still mysteries around her

-Umm... I... guess sneaking into the forbidden forest at night with Charlie is quite reckless? or pranking Filch with Snape around... or that time I took one of Snape’s hairs...for reasons that don’t need to be named right now, without an excuse in mind, oh, how about that time I went and bought an illegal dragon egg with Charlie that turned out to be an acromantula egg?Rowan was sure they were experiencing the symptoms of a heart attack by now, did Neon have a death wish? or many? and her tone implied those were a few of all the things she’d either done, or keeps doing. Then Neon started to move the opposite direction Rowan was headed, and as she passed by theyr side, she put a hand on their shoulder and leant in to whisper-The most reckless thing I’ve done is try to keep my brother, almost twice my size, from falling into the raging river when it was so obvious I’d either be the one falling, or us both, and I have a scar that proves how thinking isn’t my thing. But that’s a little fact about me you promised to keep a secret, so we’ll go with looking for the Vaults, eh?

And with that Neon leaves to wherever she’s supposed to be going.

-Do you think the average person has the potential to be a hero?

Ben asks while reading his comic book, with some guy in svery tight leggins and a giant dish on his hand. He’s called Captain America but if he were to try and give orders to Nuria she’d laugh at his face.She still hasn’t answered, and now Ben raises his eyes from the static pictures to look at Nuria, to see if she heard him or not.

-I don’t know.

-That’s a lame answer, c’mon, think about it

- Do you? - she emphasizes the you, trying to shift the attention. Because she does know what she thinks. She thinks it takes a special kind of person to be a hero. And neither she or Ben were chosen. 

Neon and Laura were. They had that unique thing about them, they walked into a room and it was very hard, almost impossible, not to notice them. And they didn’t think twice before stepping in. Laura had been a great prefect and head girl. And she managed to become an Auror like nothing, she was so young and yet she recieved so much praise already. She was saving people from dark wizards. She was a hero, indeed. 

And then there was Neon. Quite the opposite of Laura, had a very bad attitude, it was hard to like her on first impression alone, and yet she got in front of Ben when Merula wanted to pick a fight, and no matter what she said, she kept helping out others. She might not have wanted to, but she was a hero too.And Nuria the average person, like Ben, meant to look at the heroes from below and cheer for their victory .

-Yeah.- said Ben, snapping her attention back to reality.- I do think so. I mean, look at Captain America here, he started being this frail boy...- he showed Nuria the page of this young man, blonde and thin, it looked kinda like Ben. 

-To this amazing superhero staning up to the baddies, see? But it’s just his body, he was already a hero! he was just waiting - he turned a few pages and now there he was, a big, strong man, in that ridiculous suit Nuria thought couldn’t be intimidating at all, fighitng against some men in uniforms.

She looked at the picture for a while, then up to Ben, who looked expectant to hear what Nuria had to say now. Could an average person really become a hero?

-You know what Ben, I agree. An average person can be a hero, they just gotta wait a bit  for their time to become one.

Ben smiled and went back to reading, and Nuria rested her head on his shoulder to read that comic as well. Maybe she could be like the captain. But no ridiculous outfit for her, thank you very much.

💚 Jennifer This is really random but I hope you are having a good day and that you and your family are in good health!

Oh hello my sweetness! Everything is as close to peaches as you could expect with a one year old. Hubby is home in bed with the sniffles so I’m hoping a good night’s sleep will help him through. 

Jennifer is almost the perfect red, with just a tinge of orange. It is almost aggressive in my mind with its boldness, I think because “f”s require so much breath to make that they steal the mind’s attention. That being said, the impact is a pretty one because of the softness that the “r” brings to the end.

It's been a while since I've drawn my girl Jenny so why the hell not bring her back.

Wanted to draw her older then I normally so here she is in her late 30s. Sorry its just a sketch :( when I have more time maybe I'll make it a full drawing.

Finally did another MonsterMash drawing... near the end of the month hehe.

Hopefully be able to draw at least one more. I've been burned out from a large commission worked on last month.
