I really feel like it was a big turning point as well, at least in my mind, where my thought process changed from “wow! Sephiroth is such a badass!” to “... he is beyond reason, beyond rule, beyond control. He needs to be stopped” but he was still just... getting whatever he wanted, by any means necessary, and something about that changed my view of him from being awe inspiring to being kind of unsettled. 

I mean yes, there were plenty of other points that did that, but when he took out someone we knew, it felt so much more personal.

They fought together once I think but they never fought each other

Yeah I’m pretty sure they teamed up or were at least on screen together while transformed at least once. My memoirs of the show are pretty fuzzy. But the more I think about it the more I’m pretty sure that I just had a dream that they fought. Not sure what would cause me to have a dream like that though, or when I had it.

It helps that all the other rider series happened so with killer robots, magical monsters, that weird forest, those coin guys and the dopants having caused major problems video game monsters isnt that hard to accept

what do you think it’s like living in the kamen rider universe, where you just kind of have to accept that evil cars and sentient coins try to kill you every week

@jaysonblaze THEORY: Tseng is actually an extremely powerful wizard. Can survive sword wounds, always seems to be everywhere at once, can somehow wrangle Reno, handsome. The last point might not be relevant, but I still feel like it's a point that should be addressed.

I liked it. It should of been a bit longer to flesh out the characters more but overall it was good.
