take a rest, I'll be right here
for @jayvik-week day seven: free day
in another life, I would hold you while you sleep
“Is this really necessary?” Jayce asks, thermometer in his mouth.
“Yes.” Viktor responds, pulling it out. He checks it, “102.4” He reads off, “You’re staying home.”
“Viktor.” He stares at Jayce. “Really, I’m fine. I just…need some Tylenol or something. I don’t need to stay home.”
Viktor listens to him spit out his lies, then shoves him down onto the couch. “Jayce Talis. You are going to stay home, and that is final. If I have to, I will call your mother.”
Jayce groans, “Please don’t call my mom, she’s going to worry so much over nothing.”
He caresses Jayce’s burning cheek, before gripping it tightly, “Then go back to bed and rest. I’ll be back in an hour.”
or; soup, sickness, love and being loved
