eleanor felt like a kid once again as she stood on the carnival grounds with a stick of cotton candy in hand, surrounded by the cheerful sounds everywhere. in front of her, the ferris wheel loomed tall with its lights casting a kaleidoscope of colors against the night sky as it turned slowly. she watched it for a moment, a small smile tugging at her lips before admitting quietly, " i can't even remember the last time i rode one. it must have been in high school or something. " after watching the gently creaking wheel, she glanced at the person next to her as she asked them curiously, " do you think it's safe? "
