My headcanon: Jayfeather and Rock are always fighting over who gets to date Stick. Thoughts?

Stick is more like Rock’s child, they more so fight over if Jayfeather is ALLOWED to date stick.

I’ve been thinking about the Warriors series again recently and I don’t really think that I have the courage nor the memory to explain just how pervasive Jayfeather X Stick was in the fandom. Like it’s blowing my mind remembering just how popular this ship was and people didn’t even treat it like a crackship i can’t freaking believe it.

Just imagine you’re going on the Warrior’s forum accounts for the first time in 2008 and you keep seeing “JayXStick” in people’s signatures. As you keep exploring you keep seeing people gush about how popular JayXStick was and just how much it meant to people. You finally ask someone about it who, of course, raves about it and you finally ask who Stick is and in which book you’ll meet them.

And then imagine them telling you that they unironically ship a cat with a literal goddamn stick.
