Hour 55 - 56
I heard Mike Stern’s “Believe It” from the album Is What It Is on JAZZ.FM91 the other day. It’s melodic and bluesy, with a couple of signature Stern lines where he effortlessly plays 16ths and sextuplets. During hour 55 and 56, I transcribed the lines using a great app called iLift and played them repeatedly to internalize them.
