I don't know how space colonies work but I'm going to assume they got supplies delivered every now and again. whenever gerald was putting in the order, she would also demand certain things be added for shadow that nobody else ever even considered. "what do you mean, he needs a quill brush? we have hair brushes here" NO he needs a special kind otherwise it won't do the job properly and it could damage his quills!! put it on the lists NOW!!!

Mumbo is one of the members of the Southern Councillor alongside Martyn! Each Southern Councillors comes from one of five smaller kingdoms that join together to make a stronger, more reliable and protective, singular kingdom. Mumbo is from the eastern most kingdom of those five! They're also each colourcoded; Martyn is of course green, Jimmy is blue, Impulse is yellow, Grian is red, and Councillor Mumbo is orange. Like each of them, Mumbo played a large part in protecting and representing his kingdom in the Southern Raids! Because he was originally an inventor, notable for always having his shirts with holes burnt into them and soot in his hair, he engineered drawing gate systems that could project vulnerable towns (He also worked together with Grian building village defenses!). He also had to travel a lot, going from town to town selling machines and offering fixes, so he knew the ins and outs of his region. Mumbo's knowledge of shortcuts and tight trails through the Southern lowlands were very helpful for the brigades that came to their aid. When he was brought in as a councillor, he was elected the Head of Industry and Innovation, where he oversees safety, municipal upgrades, forging, and engineering. (Also, since their home kingdoms more-or-less on the opposite ends, he was originally engaged to Martyn as a peace deal between the two. However, the engagement was put aside when a more beneficial union arose.)
