Caskett AU. Richard Castle was hired by Senator Bracken to shadow Detective Beckett and eliminate her if she got too close. What Castle didn't expect, was to fall in love with her and when he chooses to help her, Bracken sends another man to hunt them down, causing Beckett and Castle to go on the run.
Set during S4: The gang are getting closer to figuring out who killed Johanna Beckett when they find out that castle has something to do her murder. Turns out "the dragon"told him to get a consultant job at the precinct make sure Roy didn't do anything stupid and that Kate doesn't find out anything. ps please don't make him totally bad
Beckett and castle are FBI or CIA agents who were posing as a detective obsessed wl her mothers murder and a childish mystery writer. but really KB was assigned to solve Johanna Beckett's murder and her partner comes to help her after a few years BC there better together (c&b are married the whole time BTW) but once the murder is solved they are supposed to just leave and they have to explain everything to Espo and Ryan
