If this is how you think - in any shape or form - I’m gonna gently suggest you move on to another story. Bc yes, Iris is being selfish but she’s also just scared, afraid of change, and was in denial for a long time. Her endgame - w/o giving too much away - is not gonna be to be rejected and alone indefinitely. That is not my plan for this story.
