CISCE ZONAL KHO-KHO TOURNAMENT 2022 JCS Girls are the Champions of U14, U17 and U19 categories of Zonal Kho-Kho Tournament. Congratulations to all the players, coaching staff and Management. JCS hosted the CISCE ZONAL Inter-School Kho-Kho Tournament in a grand manner to develop harmony and healthy sporting environment among the ICSE schools of Moga, Ferozepur, Bathinda, Barnala and Mansa districts. The occasion was graced by Dr. Satinderpal Singh Sandhu, Dr. Pimardeep Kaur, Chairman S. Hardeep Singh Dhaliwal and other School Trustees. All the participants joined the prayer ceremony, followed by opening ceremony performances by JCS students. The first Match was played between the teams of U17 categories on Ground 1, matches of Under-14 were held on Ground 2. Total 12 matches were held in all categories. Finals of U14 were played between JCS and DCS Moga where Junior JCS girls defeated DCS Moga by a huge margin of 15-3. In second final of the day JCS defeated CCS Ferozepur by huge margin of 9-0 and it was one sided traffic. In third final of the day senior girls stamped their authority on DCS Moga by finishing the chase within few minutes as no girl of JCS was caught by opponent team throughout the match and JCS Girls finished the innings in few seconds. The Girls participated with great enthusiasm. The winner teams were awarded with trophies and medals. The Runners up and Second Runners Up teams also received trophies and medals. The Best Player of the Tournament in U14 categories was Navjot Kaur, U17 Jasleen Kaur and U19 Harleen Kaur. The day was a great experience in the life of students. The students and teachers from senior classes devotedly performed their duties as volunteers. Principal Mr. SS Dhaliwal thanked chief guest and trustees for gracing the occasion, thanked management for all the support, school staff for hosting such a wonderful event, volunteers and at last all the participating teams. He congratulated all the winners and asked them to focus on Regionals going to be held next month. Kartar Singh Sarabha (24 May 1896 – 16 November 1915) was an Indian revolutionary. He was 15-years-old when he became a member of Gadar Party, he then became a leading luminary member and started fighting for the Indian Independence Movement. He was one of the most active members of the movement. In November 1915 at Lahore, he was executed for his role in the movement when he was 19 years old. This weekend students of Nursery were taught about importance of plants and water in our life. Teachers motivated them to plant trees and plants at their homes.
