TGI JD chicken sauce without the JD

1 onion Rapeseed oil for frying 1 cup of apple juice 1/2 cup soy sauce 1 tbsp ginger 3 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp chilli flakes 1 tbsp paprika 200g dark brown sugar Salt Finely chop the onion and salt, leave to sit for 5 minutes. Heat oil in pan and gently sauté the onions until clear. Add all the other ingredients and simmer for an hour. Should have the consistency of maple syrup. Keep the heat low or it will boil over!
