KJHDKJSDH OKAY. SO.

i have 3 mdtb lovechildren ocs, twin girls and younger boy. and the girls (mari & koemi) take after madara personality-wise, very jutsu heavy.

toya on the other had, is much more interested in seals and science and all that (he also never got the sharingan) and therefore tends to stick close to tobirama in general.

(and in this particular fic that i've been working on, madara is hokage--i should also probably say that it's crack treated seriously with baby-making seals and jutsu for flavor--BUT I DIGRESS)

SO BASICALLY. THE CAT MEME. it had me thinking about tobirama going on a solo mission and talking about it in code around the village because they suspect there is a spy in the village who intends to attack tobirama when he's unprepared.

SO. toya, wanting to spend more time with tobirama and also wanting to show him the work on seals he's been doing, convinces his sisters to help him follow tobirama onto his mission (what they believe is a simple messenger mission)

and toya has been working on a seal that fully suppresses his chakra and presence, so much so that it's difficult for tobirama to even detect him until they are MUCH to far away from the village to justify sending him home alone--and the actual mission tobirama is on is time-sensitive. and while tobirama is very impressed and proud of the work his son has done on this seal he's also VERY MUCH IN DANGER NOW.

and of course, the angst potential of his child being in danger, the parental bonding, it's a whole stew of potential!!

i'm already making a note bc i want to write this so bad now LMAO

BONUS: i was also giggling to myself about a modern au where toya sneaks into tobirama's car when he has to go to a conference out of town and like HOURS into the drive, Toya sits up from the backseat and says he has to go to the bathroom.

and tobirama nearly veers off the road.

(he also receives a VERY frantic phone call from madara)
