I’ve talked about David secretly being a red-drinker type vampire before but here is a fun question: Will Dave get fangs if he embraces his impulses?
Personally I want him to have a second set of retractable teeth like that found in the mouths of some freaky deep sea fish to burst messily out of his gums for the first time, when he goes to bite out somebody’s windpipe in the middle of a large battle between forces of good and evil.
Then after the initial shock has worn off days later, a scene of Dave somewhat calmly looking at the healed holes in his gums above his normal human teeth while trying to figure out how to extend his fangs on demand so he can clean them. He can’t really go to a dentist like that.
