It’s not a Pokemon in PLA, thankfully, but I need you to know there’s a Pokemon in another game that can only evolve once it’s specifically taken 49 or more damage AND you’ve gone to a certain niche point on the map. Pokemon evolutions are ridiculous and I have no idea why because there is no way in hell kids are figuring this out. I’m an adult and can’t even figure it out without looking it up 😭

oh i like a bunch of stuff about soul eater!!

to start with the animation is so fucking good, its so fluid and dynamic and the fights look awesome with it.

also the character designs and general artstyle is great, and they go with the setting of death city so well to create this almost halloweeny environment its so fun

and the characters themselves? theyre also so so so fun, i love all the kids. crona and kid are especially close to my heart. for crona its because i love seeing a non-binary character come out of a bad place to be met with new friends who love and support them. and for kid its because hes the first character with ocd that i really saw when i was younger, like, every other character in cartoons and childrens tv only had that sort of “super clean nerd” stereotype, never actual ocd (except for maybe arthur in the school fire episode but that only lasted one episode and is for much younger kids than i was at the time). i just thought it was neat to see so i liked him a lot.
