In Denmark children have to say goodbye to their comforter on their third birthday and hang it symbolicly in a special tree. It's been a tradition for over a hundred years in some places in Denmark and Sweden. I found this tree in the Jeagerspris Castle Gardens. There are more wonderful trees in the area of Nordskoven.
