What would you do if Fukami were to succumb to the Sea of Death and you knew you could never call him back?
"Not possible. I know he is strong-willed...perhaps even more than I am. He wouldn't fall to something like that."

In the open expanse of barren oceanfloor and sparse few caves the Witch Protector walked, the black translucent silk of her veil contrasting sharply with blanched sand as it billowed in the chilly ocean currents. It was the worst place for hunting yet, but right now she wasn't here to catch dinner for herself and her family.
In fact, this task was temporarily forgotten as she gave into nostalgia and continued treading slowly across the plain. It could wait - it wasn't often that she came around here anymore, so many ages on.
All the grottoes in this area, so far out from the town and all uninhabited, looked almost identical. But Haewon had been in one of them for a long time, and she had nothing if not a keen memory. This was the place she'd met her first familiar; the only place she could seek refuge in when she was too proud to make for her own home, blind and half-mad with agony. This was where she'd spent her weakest days, when Samekichi was gone and she had only a burning hatred for him to latch onto.
With Fukami.
No one could truly forget such experiences.
I see the Sea Witch and that familiar of hers have finally broken down their barriers.
Well, I can't say I expected them to suffer in silence much longer, either. Best to get it over and done.
Now, what shall I do with the orca...hm....
jealoustentacles:
"….We all have our flaws……" "…………" "……I think it would hurt her….. To see that one of her familiars hates another….. What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her, right?" "………" "……..It would also hurt her to see….. To see me the way I really am……"
"Hahaha....HaHaHaHa....!"
And here is the Great Witch, appearing behind the familiar of that child's in a flurry of black feathers, tendrils, and mixtures of other unidentifiable, shadow-hued matter. Why has She appeared before him, of all people? Who knows? Perhaps She intends to consume him, or just probe deeper into his mind(as she had done a long age ago, to him and all who followed his Witch) so that her curiosity can be sated.
The Sea Witch and her brood, they are quite the strange bunch after all...
"Is that what you really think, child? You really have not changed since the last time you stood before me, with a secret under your mantle..."
