          Beckett and James had arranged to meet each other in the evening at a specific time. However, the meeting with Mercer ended up being a little longer than expected. Surely he can wait. The meeting covered what was to occur the following week, logged in the Lord’s notes. After twenty more minutes of detailed conversation, it was over. When the guard opened the door, the other was still close as he whispered an instruction to him. After his words, he then allowed Mercer to leave the room and check the docks for pirates. Beckett beckoned James into the space. 

          “Ah, I am glad you could make it this evening.”

Well, that was... a very cold welcome. A really cold one considering that Dazai didn’t remember doing something that might anger his lover. They haven’t fought for a long time but... the reason was probably somewhere in Chuuya’s words. Still, he wasn’t aware of anything wrong he did with his colleagues from the Agency and there was currently no time to think about it too much and... the angry Chuuya was standing right in front of him and hell, Dazai didn’t want to go away... especially not after that deal they made together. 

“Chuuya.. what’s wrong? Please tell me... Let’s solve it together. We made a deal, remember? Well, if you want me to leave, I will but I would like not to?” A nervous laughter. Damn, he didn’t know how to tackle this. “...Please?”

"No," She says, puzzled. In fact, so far the only person to touch Her deliberately, or even speak to Her, has been Shinji. "I appear to be… intimidating the other patrons," She admits with a faint blush.

She is, however, at a loss for why. Her white-blue hair is not the most unusual colour on display, and it is dim enough that Her eyes are not as noticeable… Perhaps She looks too severe for this venue in the short-skirted red and black Chinese dress…?

Shinji takes a good look at her outfit, and his anger is replaced by—-nope, he’s not going to even name that feeling for fear of what it might mean.

Her face heats from Her blush, and She glances away, unused to such compliments and not even sure that He really means them, even if a guilty little part of Her hopes that He does. The dress has been tucked away in Her home since that first shopping trip with Tabuko-chan, back when She was still getting to know the Nephilim girl, before Kiel... This is the first time She has felt... secure enough to try and wear it. To know that Shinji at least seems to like it is... gratifying. "Thank you."
