PRIVATE ROLEPLAY: DO NOT REBLOG IF YOU ARE NOT MY PARTNER.
The flowers were on his desk when he got back from his meeting - an explosion of blooms so fiery they looked almost ablaze. There was no card - she was self-assured enough to know she didn’t need one. Jaime seethed over them for almost an hour before calling her.
“I’m not a man to be played with,” he hissed as soon as she answered. “Have me or don’t, but don’t expect me to hang around pining after you while you wine and dine one freelancer after another. I’m not another Mormont.”

When her phone vibrated on the desk, Daenerys saw with a glance who it was, nodding to Missandei who gathered up two tablets and exited the office, closing the door behind her. As soon as the door shut, Dany tapped to connect the call on speaker. From Jaime’s first hissing word, she knew he was still furious with her, but neither had made the other any promises, something he seemed to be forgetting with his smoldering fury. “No, you are not. Jorah had no trouble saying exactly what he wanted from me,” she shot back.
It hadn’t been what she wanted with the bear of a man, but at least it had been honest and there were no games like the one happening now. Daenerys disliked games, hated not feeling as if she could trust, never knowing who would betray her. “Have you or don’t? Why Jaime, I think that might be the first time you’ve said something that smacks at commitment. Careful, you wouldn’t want me to actually think you care, which I find hard to believe since I saw you with your sister. Don’t get angry at me just because we like the same restaurants,” she continued dryly, looking out the penthouse office corner windows at the city below while her stomach churned.
