I keep seeing people push the idea that fandoms never had drama back in the day (late 90s/early 2000s), unfortunately...they did.

Even back in the early days of what is "Old-Gen fandom" there were still people who'd be catty and pissy with each other, or calling out actual shitty behavior. The only difference then was that fandom communities were more self-contained and niche. So even if there was some form of drama or situation, it wouldn't really spread too far, or would usually be dealt with pretty quickly.

However, with the rise of things like (fandom) ranting communities and fandom culture in general becoming less niche, it has resulted in more people becoming aware of situations within fandom spaces, and by extension, engaging with them.

IDK, maybe I'm speaking out my ass, but every time I see people praise "Old-Gen fandom" for being "Drama Free," it just feels, partially, nostalgia blind.

What are your headcanons for 2012 Casey x Rise April? (As well as the ship name 👀)

Oh my this gonna be fun~

First off I don't really have a ship name for them 🤔.

Most of the time I just call them Capril, puff-ball and canyon-mouth, or R12 (Rise and 2012) Capril. Tho If anyone has a better ship name for them, I'm all ears!

As for headcanons here's a few::

💚💀- They have A LOT of nicknames and pet names for each other, the most used ones being puff-ball (April) and Canyon-Mouth(Casey).

💚💀- They constantly have debates on dubbed vs subbed anime, and they usually get the turtles involved.

💚💀- The Donnies actually made them both devices, so they could communicate across dimensions if needed.

💚💀- Casey has made a vigilante/patrol mask for April, she doesn't wear it but she does hang it up in her room.

💚💀- Casey and April cannot have a kid cause of what the Donnies refer to as "Interdimensional nonsense."

So, me and a friend were watching Vita Carnis together, and she asked a good-ass question::

"Could a mimic be domesticated, similar to trimmings, if a human raised it from its juvenile form?"

My personal theory is that a "Domesticated Mimic" would probably have what I call "Captivity Mentality", where it is still a very dangerous creature that needs to be contained in a proper and stimulating environment, BUT would be able to recognize its "owner" as a source of food and shelter, assuming the owner had a consistent way of getting humans bodies for it to eat.
