Roy and Ed have a threesome with [character who isn’t Riza or Winry, you choose]
pairing: Roy/Ed/Jean
rating: T for frank discussion of sexytimes
"What's it like?"
Colonel Mustang—no, Roy, they’re off-duty now in a secluded dive bar to avoid getting caught fraternizing—looks up from his drink with a vaguely puzzled expression. None of their previous conversation provides context for the inquiry. Jean Havoc knows this. He’s just curious. Who wouldn’t be?
(There's a saying about curiosity but in his current fog of drunkenness it has disappeared into the ether.)
Roy sighs, probably exhausted from the usual political nonsense and this little tirade isn't helping matters. “What’s what like, lieutenant?”
"You know," Jean says. "It. When you do…whatever it is that you’re doing with him. What's it like?”
“I presume you’re talking about Fullmetal.” In a bored manner Roy examines the way the light glows within the depths of his drink. His dark eyes diluted in the gold of the liquid say mine, but Jean presses, because he's a masochist. He can thank God he hasn't been set on fire.
“Who else could it be?"
"Why do you care?"
"I…" Wonder what he tastes like. What he feels like beneath you. If he’s quiet, or moans like a whore. "I can’t fathom how you ended up in a relationship with Edward Elric, of all people. There must be something that made you go for it, considering all that could go wrong."
He lights a cigarette. He can feel Roy’s eyes burning into him.
"There are risks to any relationship."
"Yes, but see, other relationships wouldn't destroy you," Jean says, and what comes next are real concerns. "He's impulsive and immature. Doesn't know what he wants. People would use him against you and he could get hurt. Doesn't that scare you?"
"Does this really worry you, lieutenant?" Roy asks calmly. "Or are you simply infatuated with him?"
Jean inhales too sharply and chokes on the subsequent smoke. "That’s--not the point."
"He’s very attractive, Havoc; you wouldn’t be the first allegedly heterosexual man to want him." Roy is far too collected about this revelation. Does he relish the thought of another man desiring his young lover, or is the jealousy eating away at him? More likely he’s amused Jean would even think he has a chance with Fullmetal. Hell, Roy doesn’t stand a chance with Fullmetal, yet there they were last night. Fucking away.
"I just...have some questions about the kid, that's all."
"Fair enough; I would too, were I in your position. What do you want to know?"
Jean takes a long, slow drag on his cigarette and then presses his palms into his eyes, not believing that he and his CO are talking openly about a seventeen-year-old subordinate. A seventeen-year-old subordinate whose exquisite golden eyes and heady moans are branded forever into his memory. Fuck. He could lose his rank for even thinking about this.
"Okay," he says, not removing his hands, "is he any good?"
"Of course," Roy says, leaning back in his seat. "He's a natural, and quite talented where it counts. Moves in all the right ways, coordinated and sharp. His body is...incredible. A miracle. And he knows how to use it almost too well. I would ask where he learned these things, but I don't want to know the answer."
All of that martial arts training, maybe. “How did it start? The whole you-fucking-Ed thing.”
"I...made a miscalculation."
"You propositioned him?"
"I kissed him," Roy says with narrowed eyes. "Nothing more than that. It was very late and he was--breathtaking. I told him it couldn't escalate, and I believed in this conviction, but he has a way of breaking down my walls. He has mastered the art of seduction. Somehow." He takes a drink of his beer.
Jean's mouth is dry. He peels his hands away from his face. “What's it like? Kissing him.”
Roy appears thoughtful for a few moments, hand beneath his chin. “Wet,” he says. “His lips are softer than you’d think. Slightly chapped. He’s sweet, like a mandarin. Uses his teeth. But God, the sounds he makes...”
"Demonstrate?"
"Lieutenant," Roy chides, "this is obscene, and if he knew I was being so candid with you he would castrate me. What on earth got you so interested in Fullmetal?” Well, let’s see, Jean thinks. I heard you screwing him senseless last night. “Clearly he isn’t your type."
That’s true, or at least on the surface it seems to be. What is Edward, anyway? A warm young blond with honey eyes and smooth skin and tight muscles and a body that moves as gracefully as a leopard’s. Maybe he isn’t Jean’s type but that doesn’t mean he isn’t ungodly beautiful.
He taps his cigarette on the ash tray. "I heard you going at it last night." He waves his hand at the air, clearing smoke, because this is probably the most awkward conversation he will ever have in his life. He feels guilty, dirty, for admitting this. "It was hot."
Roy's eyebrows sharply rise. "And it never occurred to you to...move to another room?"
“Yes, but no,” Jean says, looking away. “Because I wanted him and I wanted you and it was too hard to just--not listen. There’s my filthy little secret, okay? You can laugh about it all you want. I promise it won’t interfere with my duties and I swear I won't touch him.”
As disappointing as that might be.
“Lieutenant, I know you would sooner give your hand than hurt Ed,” Roy says with a gentle, almost playful smile, and Jean feels as if all the blood in his body has abandoned ship. The colonel is gazing at him like a cat now, dangerous, and manipulative. “I’m a man with desires, too, you know. And I have to say, now that you've revealed this...revelation, I am thoroughly tempted..."
Jean stares blankly at him. “What are you proposing?”
“That entirely depends on what you’re willing to do.”
He must be dreaming. His body is still humming from masturbatory fantasies and his brain wants to indulge it further. A dream is surely the only place Roy Mustang would offer himself up this way, a prize on a silver platter. Would it be so terrible to say ‘yes’ in the confines of his twisted head, Fullmetal be damned?
"Anything, sir."
"I want you to have sex with Ed and I."
Jean stares at him, open-mouthed, in awe.
"I think I've had too much to drink. Did you just ask me if I'd be willing to screw you and the boss?"
“I did,” Roy says, and his eyes go slightly dark. “You’re a decent-looking man. He trusts you and I trust you. You’re in the military, so there’s no chance in hell you’d betray us or you would also take the fall. I want the satisfaction of watching him with you, knowing you could never truly have him. I want to take our professional relationship to a new level."
Jean swallows. "Ed...is consenting to this fantasy of yours, I hope?"
Roy scoffs. "Naturally. He suggested it. You wouldn't be disappointing me if you declined, lieutenant. I'm sure I could easily find someone else warm and willing, but he would be thoroughly... upset. We don't want that."
Performance anxiety indeed. What is he getting into? "I'll need details."
