do you think jed ever worries that sammie is going down the same path that his brother did? that he sees sammie with that guitar - the one his brother used to play - and sees that horrible life of violence and sin reflected on his kind, hardworking boy? if he repeats the words of the lord loud enough, maybe that scripture will burrow it's way into his son's heart and save him from temptation.
