Not only did Jedediah grow up in one cult, but he was almost sacrificed to another as a child. That’s two different cults!!!!! He was able to get out somewhere in his teens but now has absurd levels of trauma from being involved in 2 (two!!!!) cults as child. The main cult he grew up in was a weird Christian nationalist doomsday group that was super into patriotism and America even though they’re mostly Canadian and the other cult that he was in temporarily as a child was a weird pseudo Christian “we kill people we don’t like and sacrifice children to the darkness” type cult. And guess who was almost sacrificed??? That’s right. Not only was Jed raised in 2 (two!!!) cults he’s also a botched child sacrifice from one. Two cults!!! One child!!!! Really what could go wrong.

Look I have so many thoughts still about every minute detail of Johannah revealing she's quartet.

Especially with how she's talking to Russell. She very clearly feels betrayed by Russell. And I think it's no coincidence that she shoots him for suggesting they can be peaceful because the reason she feels betrayed is because he isn't violent enough to have killed Shank.

(also shout out to Jed for stopping what he was doing just to insult Russell's traps (how are they shoddy if they just caught your sister?) and then moving on immediately to 'Jacob will try and kill you')
