Whipped Bahen and Co Chocolate; passionfruit and Geraldton wax sorbet, wattle seed cream; part of our aud145 five course tasting menu dinner at Wildflower; Perth CBD - WA's top restaurant and #60 in Australia's Top 100 Restaurants per AFR; 2017. To be honest, I was more attracted by the honeycomb dessert on the ala carte menu and wanted to substitute that instead of this on the tasting menu but that was not allowed so we ordered the honeycomb dessert separately anyways. It turned out that I actually preferred *this* to the honeycomb dish! No wonder it's one of their signatures and glad it's on the tasting menu. The smooth chocolate mousse was not sickly sweet at all and went incredibly well with the passionfruit and Geraldton wax sorbet and wattle seed cream. I am not even a chocolate (haha I know!) nor mousse person (I tend to avoid mousse normally as they are way too sweet) so this is a huge thumbs up.
