So I'm thinking of doing a Finn/Rey fic. It would take place in an AU where no one fell to the dark side and the First Order never happens. If we go with the fan theory of Rey being a Skywalker would that make her a Jedi or involved in politics? Because she came into her powers later in life? It would she be a Jedi because not being dumped on a distant planet means her powers aren't delayed?
