GUYS À La Mode Zine has finally been released, so I am now able to share my piece with you!

Jett’s family, and a lot of other raylings residing in Inkopolis, are Greek, so Jett decided to take Adobo out to a gyro spot. And Scribner and Bryant are there, too.

It was so much fun drawing this piece, and I learned a lot doing it too. And I implore you to check out the rest of the zine and all of its amazing art and writing!

Like many agents before him, Adobo failed a good number of tests in the Deepsea Metro and unfortunately got some bad back scars as a result. However, due to confidentiality reasons, he can't explain the real reason why he got it. Instead, he has to say it came from a stray Splat Bomb during an accident at a nightclub (and the funny thing is, he is definitely not the clubbing type).

Tried some new things with these sketches and I like how the effects came out.

Two fluffly dudes being fluffy for a generally fluffy day.

I've been trying to limit my use of perspective grids/rulers in recent time, and I think that it helps to make things look a little more natural. Still gotta play with lighting, though.

A slight fact I left out about Jett is that he and Adobo are in a relationship! After Adobo arrived in Inkopolis, he kind of wandered through a lot of restaurants and stuff trying to find friends (and decent food). He found the pizza place Jett was working in, aaaaaand the two of them clicked. They now share an apartment together and help each other navigate the perils of doing taxes and paying bills. And they cuddle! A lot!

Wanted to try a more "in" zoom with this, and I enjoy how it came out. I also think I'm getting better at drawing the front view of these ...sea creature eggs.
