NEW DELHI: In order to accommodate Indian engineering and architecture aspirants who decided against joining colleges abroad due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the National Testing Agency has reopened online registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main on Tuesday. The facility for correction in applications for already registered candidates has also been reopened from May 25 to May 31, 2020, where students can also opt for change in location and centre preference.
Announcing the fresh online registration, Vineet Joshi, director general, NTA said that in view of the changed circumstances and in view of the representations from various Indian students who were scheduled to join colleges abroad but are now keen to pursue their studies in the country the NTA has decided to offer one opportunity. The aspirants can now apply online till May 24, 2020.
Moreover, those aspirants who could not complete their registration because of the nation-wide lockdown are also given an opportunity for the same till May 24.
In a separate notice NTA stated that correction in candidate particulars and choice of centre cities in the inline application form for JEE (main) due to constraints in light of the pandemic will be made available for seven days from May 25, 2020.
JEE (main) exams will be held from July 18 to July 23, 2020.

JEE Main April 2020 registration date extended; apply online till March 12 - Times of India
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main April 2020 examination till March 12, 2020. Earlier, the last date to submit online applications for JEE Main April 2020 was March 6, which has now been extended till March 12, 2020.
The interested candidates can fill up the online application forms for JEE Main April 2020 through the official portal of the exam — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The official notification in this regard reads “In continuation to the Public Notice dated 7th February 2020 for submission of online application form of JEE (Main) April – 2020 for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) etc. in the next academic year (2020-2021), it is hereby informed that the last date for submission of online application form, is extended from 6 th March 2020 to 12 th March 2020, in order to enable the aspiring candidates who have not been able to apply in the Online Application Form. This is being done in view of a number of requests being received in this regard.”
The facility for correction in their data (except choice of cities) will be operational on the website from March 13 to 16, 2020 (up to 11.50 p.m.).
NTA has scheduled to conduct the JEE Main April 2020 between April 5, 7, 8, 9, and 11, 2020. The admit card for the same would be released on March 20, 2020.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun registration for the JEE Main 2020 examination from September 3, 2019. The first session of the JEE Main will be conducted by the NTA from January 6 to January 11, 2020.
