People on tiktok saying they think xenopronouns, xenogenders and microlabels are making the LGBTQ+ community seem like a joke is so hilarious to me. No matter if we had these things in our community or not, we will still be seen as a joke to them. I KNOW LIKE LITTLE TO NO CISHET PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT ANY OF THESE THINGS ARE IN THE FIRST PLACE. In their eyes, gay is gay and gay is bad. WHY are we putting down our COMMUNITY when we're about loving each other and supporting each other?? Not everyone has to fit in your boxes and standards. I promise you, no matter what we do, we will always be seen as not the "norm" with or without microlabels, xenogenders and xenopronouns. And people using the excuse of "Oh I can't be transphobic or homophobic i'm gay/i'm trans!!" Is so so stupid, like oh my god by that logic this is the equivalent to "Oh I'm a person of color so I can't be racist!!" can we use our brains?? If you're uncomfortable RESPECTING SOMEONE that is just expressing themselves in their own way not even HURTING ANYONE by doing so, then just don't talk to them, simple and easy.
