Jeebs - character lore dump

Jebidiah “Jeebs” Jenkins was raised on a ranch and looked up to his Pa, who he considered an honest and hardworking role model. He helped raise a barn with his Pa on his family’s own ranch when he was twelve, and he was proud to be a part of it.

Jeebs had a best friend in junior high named Jimmy Yankovic. He betrayed Jimmy by stealing his girlfriend, Odette. Jeebs and Odette eventually marry and have a daughter named Clementine. Jeebs inherits his family’s ranch and he’s got everything lined up nice in his life.

Jeebs somewhere along the line finds himself in the habit of trying to find shortcuts and the easy way around things. This becomes a real problem in his life, and eventually Odette gives him an ultimatum—she says that if he doesn’t turn his act around and provide for the family through honest work that she’ll take Clementine and provide for her herself.

Jeebs obviously cares very much about his wife and child, so he does make the change and abstains from trying to trick and scam his way through life.

Unfortunately, Jimmy Yankovic is still bitter, and he burns down Jeebs’s family barn and frames him. Jeebs is devastated because that barn meant a lot to him and also because he knows that no one would ever believe that it wasn’t his own doing. Jeebs doesn’t even try to defend himself, he turns himself in and is incarcerated for arson and insurance fraud.

While Jeebs is in jail, he befriends his cell mate, a dwarf named Maroy. Maroy has a lot of cousins and connections and such.

When Jeebs finally gets out, his ex wife and child have long skipped town, and now he’s trying to get his footing again while trying to hunt down his daughter.

sorry for still talking about putting my fnv ocs in bg3 but im not sorry at all anyway it would be really funny to play jeebs as a durge because either way she starts the game with brain damage leading to amnesia and decides to get revenge on the person who did this to her. she wouldve been an artificer if that had been an option but as it is she'd be a wild magic sorcerer (explodes things indiscriminately)

yknow what since both my fnv ocs are wild card ending couriers its a bit samey. so im gonna say jeebs ISNT the courier, shes a completely separate person in the universe where nero is the courier. so jeebs is just running around doing all the quests nero didnt do, shes the one that does owb and dead money (nero does honest hearts and lonesome road) she travels around with raul and veronica who nero hardly even meets. bc he only takes cass boone and briefly arcade with him. jeebs actually travels with arcade way more but idk the timeline on that
