so the other day i bought earplugs

you know, so i can actually sleep and get work done in the same room as the fucking radiator

and the earplugs are like "blocks out sound up to 33 decibels" and I don't really know anything about sound measurements, but that sounds like a hell of a lot of decibels

anyway, i stuck them in my ears and now the only thing i can hear is THE FUCKIN RADIATOR THAT IS LITERALLY THE ONLY SOUND THEY DON'T BLOCK OUT AT ALL

i don't understand how this works and i am going to cry
