Customers are so dumb I swear.
Man: *books through Expedia, requests a king suite but we don’t have one available so he gets a general suite*
Man: “I have a king suite, right?”
Me: “We have you in a general suite.”
Man: “I requested a king suite.”
Me: “We must not have had any available.”
Man: “So will I get a king suite?”
Me: “Let me check if we have any.” *checks and finds we don’t* “Unfortunately we don’t have any available tonight.”
Man: “So am I getting a king suite?”
Me: “We... don’t have any.”
Man: “I requested a king suite.”
Me: “My manager will be here at 5:30. If you’d like you can talk to him.”
Man: “So am I supposed to sleep in the lobby?”
Me: “Well, presumably you’d sleep in your room.”

Me: “So we have you on the fourth floor. Here’s your key card, here’s a card that says the hours of our restaurant over there and how to connect to the wifi, and the elevator’s around that corner. Have a good day.”
