[ January 07, 2012 ] : First, everyone here at Injury-Duty would like to to send out our best wishes to Jeff Backus. Sucks to go down with an injury, but it has to sting that much more when it's in a playoff game - that you lose nonetheless. We're all wishing you a speedy recovery! Get well soon, brotha! It's tough to see anything in the footage, but you do see Backus (#76) grabbing for his arm during the play. He had this to say about the injury: "A guy made an inside move and I went to hook him with my arm and my bicep popped," Backus said.
Jeff Backus has been in Detroit his whole 11 year career.
He has the lowest winning percentage of any singular player in NFL history.
This year marks his first ever playoff appearance.
