Jeff Bujak in Long Island
Jeff Bujak is a Northampton, MA based keyboardist/producer/composer who has designed a new style of dance music that dives deep into the waters of complex electronica and he’s carving a fresh path in the live-music scene one performance at a time. Though, if you ask a Jeff Bujak fan to describe his music, a blank face followed by a smile would prove to be a common trial answer, then usually words like ‘dirty’ and ‘epic’ start pouring out. His music falls into a large pool of electronica dance genres, lands on one and leaps to the next while he wails away on his keyboards to create something truly moving, smart and original.
And now, on March 24, he will be gracing us with his presence out in Suffolk County LI, close to SUNY Stony Brook. The show will be at Thugz Mansion with a small entry fee and a bar. Joining him on the line up are Funk Grizzly and Cosmal.
Funk Grizzly are an experimental band that formed in the heart of Long Island only to contradict any assumption made from their setting. This multidimensional three-man group brings a giant gradient of styles, varying from jam all the way to hip hop. Their eclectic way of mixing electronics with instruments brings a unique futuristic element. A fusion of traditional rock vibes and innovation ensures to bring the funk to your soul and bring out your inner grizzly.
Cosmal is a one-man live act that brings together jams and progressive vibes to create a wide range of genres.
