I'm still just halfway through this but I am so thankful to the Lord for it. I know that I am a man who let's himself be fearful and lazy, despite how much I go on about how poisonous comfort is. I'm not wholly sure what my talent of skills are, or even my dreams are, but I do know that I was blessed with a family: I'm married, I am a father, I am a sibling, and I still have my mother. These are riches I have been given that other men may not be able to say they too have, yet how am I honoring the Lord with my handling of such rich responsibility? I want the sloth put to death, the coward cast away from me; I want to be on fire and faithful to my God, Father, and King.
Holy Lord, in Jesus's name I ask you please to light fires under your lazy and fearful servants, that we fear only one thing and that be You. We need help, yet we also have all the resources we need to get up. Create in us right hearts and new spirits and may we be without excuse and with return, Father please.
In Jesus's holy name, again, amen.
