Jeff Huggins in talking about a short paper he wrote called "Robot Revelations". His prime example is that of a robot that is not properly programmed to stop working when it gets a low battery warning. To stop working when on low battery is an obvious thing, but without insight (and proper programming) the robot will never stop working until it dies of inadequate battery supply.
