Sculpture MFA Student Wins International Award
Jeff Prokash (MFA 2015) was among 374 students nominated from more than 150 colleges and universities for Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture from the International Sculpture Center.
Since 1994, the ISC, publisher of Sculpture Magazine, has invited schools to nominate three students for the award, and this year, 22 students were honored.
Prokash was nominated by faculty Dan Price (Sculpture) and his work will be featured in the October 2014 issue of Sculpture Magazine and online at sculpture.org. Additionally, his work will be on display at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey from March 2014 to October 2015. A reception will also be held to mark the opening of the exhibition.
