Finally after searching the internet, with NO answers, I solved the problem of Corel Paint Shop Pro X8 not saving images.
Here is all you do
After you are done editing the photo:
1 Click on FILE in the far upper left corner
2 Click on SAVE FOR OFFICE (note: it is the 8th option from the top of FILE)
