@jeffersonsadera #adecadeandtwo later and we're still crazy about each other and our adventures together. whatever comes our way, be it fixing a broken sink or taking the trash out, or having to walk or take the bus when the car breaks down, having petty fights to resolve or big decisions to make, having to deal with tough situation that needs big adjustments or simply having to decide where and what to eat after a long day, i know that we can surpass anything and take on the world as long as we're together. the world is always better when we're together. God is amazing to have brought us together. My heart is filled with gratefulness for having You. Happy anniversary my love! 😙😊❤🍓 #jeffandjacky

We normally are not the sweet and cheesy type of a couple. If you see us somewhere, we look more like super close friends that annoy each other most of the time. Only closest friends witness our pa-sweet moments such as this.
These all happened exactly one month after our wedding day, December 3, 2014. I didn’t have the slightest idea he arranged for this romantic dinner setup, complete with photographers to document each moment. All I know was that I would be chaperoning my Penny on her dinner date. Little did I know that they were conniving to plot all of this! Hahah!
So straight from the office, I headed to Subic Grand Seas where I supposedly have to meet Penny and her date. From the entrance of the resort, as soon as I told the security guards that I would be meeting with Penny (where she also works), they handed me a single rose with tag: “first year”. I went to the reception area and the lady receptionist also handed me another rose labeled “second year”. I already had a feeling that something’s going on. I almost would want to call Penny and scold her for tripping on me. As I was assisted to “meet” Penny, another resort guide handed me another rose, and another, and another, and another... till the label on the rose reached “tenth year”. Two photographers keep flashing their cameras on me. And there was Jep holding yet another rose, tagged “first month”.
And it sunk in to me, it was our first month as husband and wife and he prepared everything to make the day special. I’ve gone a little emotional as I really don’t like surprises and it was just so unexpected and overwhelming. I feel betrayed! I thought I would just be chaperoning! Hahah!
And I got into a realization that I got an annoyingly amazing husband and best friend. Thank you God for blessing me with amazing people I’d grow old with :)
Our life is full of vibrant colors. And we're grateful. :)

Life is taking over in a pretty, pretty good way and my heart overwhelms with the many blessings that keep on coming my way.
I am now taking the journey to married life with my favorite huckleberry friend. To celebrate a decade of our love and friendship and embrace the first day of the rest of our lives, we got married exactly on our 10th anniversary! Here’s an excerpt of my vow, which I wasn’t able to say as I imagine I should because I was already crying from the moment i read the first line. ❤
Jeff, today marks the 10th year of us being together-a decade of having each other’s back, learning the ropes of life, discovering and complementing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, going through good and tough times.
It wasnt all rainbows and butterflies and summer days. There have been unfavorable days. But looking at how far we’ve gone, i can only see how beautiful and how blessed our life together has been.
More than the thousands of photographs i took of us together, what remains when i close my eyes is the bliss and gratefulness for having you in my life—good times, bad times, even mundane times.
I thank God for having blessed us with each other. You are moon river, and I’ll drift with you for as long as this lifetime would take. I am so grateful that today I am marrying my soul mate, my best friend, my favorite travel companion, my all time admirer and critique, my reality checker. i am thankful that henceforth i am bound to take life’s many adventures with the man of my reality.
I vow to be with you wherever life takes us. I vow to keep on loving you even in hard times. I vow to continue to give you the everyday kind of love— love that’s always there — good days, bad days, pms days—any day and everyday.
I am excited to witness more sunrise and sunsets, and go for more long walks with you in this next chapter of our life together. Happy anniversary. :)
Home is not a place, but a feeling. I am home. 😊❤
