I posted on my Facebook the other day a link to a video that Joe Diffie posted of him and Bret Michaels together on stage. In 6 days it'll be 27 years ago that I saw my first concert. I was a little late to the live music thing, but I've made up for some of it in the last few years. Joe Diffie and Boy Howdy were my first concert, around the corner from my house. I was a member of the Diffie Cult for four years. Little did I know then that the lead singer of Boy Howdy, Jeffrey Steele, would be someone that I got to meet because of my job. A couple years after I started working for Bret, I suggested that he write with Jeffrey Steele. He did and it created some pretty amazing songs, in my humble opinion. I got a super big hug from Jeffrey when he and Bret did their first show together in 2005. Bret and Joe Diffie have done a bunch of shows together over the years, but I have yet to be at one. It's another one of those moments that'll bring my journey in the music business full circle. Looking forward to hopefully seeing a show with both of them in person someday soon.
