My thoughts on season 1 of Beyond (in short)
- Dorky Holden is good Holden, but Holden treating woman badly, is asshole Holden. - Luke is a babe, my damn love on first episode. - Jeff is badass sass master, every scene with him is a gem. - Kevin deserved better and so does Jaime. - I love both Willa and Charlie and completely ignore any potentional love triangle between them. - If I had to decide who to ship with Holden, it would be Charlie. They make really cute couple, but I still love them more as a friends, because to me she will always be bi and I shall wait for her gf to appear (#Charlieforqueer2k17) - Willa and Luke have amazing bromance and I love them together. I’m only not sure if it’s OTP or BroTP. - Lydia is a queen and she needs to be in s2. Jeff and her are just perfect. - I kinda liked Colonel Mustard. Sure, he was evil, I will never forgive him for Kevin, but he was so damn cool. - Someone really needs to do gifset of that scene in 1x09 when Holden does his science stuff and Luke throws Breaking bad references. I laughed my ass of there. It was my absolutely favorite scene - This show is so visualy stunning. These shots… perfection - I mostly loved it, but for s2 they really need to work on the way they write female characters. It’s not like they are written badly, they are only not getting enought respect. All of them letting Holden treat them like shit and then getting written of when they are not useful anymore? Its just demeaning.
