I was nearly bitten by a dog when I walked in the Stadspark. The Stadspark is an English garden close to the city center. Since the mid 1800s, people go there to relax. I particularly enjoy that you can sit by a moat and look at the medieval defense walls. The riverlet Jeker is flowing there, too. But the dog was annoying, especially when it ran at me at full speed, stopped two meters in front of me, and started barking. The animal had the size of a dachshund, but with curly white fur and a broad head. I know nothing about dogs and after this little agitated fellow, I do not care either. The owner - pink shirt, blue sweater tied around the neck, jeans, and leather loafers - called his dog back and put it on a leash. Maybe the animal sensed my nervousness? I have not slept last night either.
So far, the walks helped me to find inner rest, but after the incident, I am not sure whether I will be able to sleep this night. We will see. Here is a snapshot of the Stadspark.
