What started as a dream 10 years ago got quickly scribbled down on a page in my sketchbook and locked away until a few years ago I committed it to rough drawings then onto plate. This project has been a journey through the very complex processes of etching and has explored lots of different processes including sugar lift soft ground hard ground aquatint and lots of scraping and burnishing. It has been a testament of pacientes and perseverance but I have always said if you want something go get it done so that's what I have done. Enjoy the other nine scenes of the journey man in there final state after many different proof stages and look out for the book which will be published and realised as a concertina artist book in mid march as a limited edition run of only 30 copies in time for the fine press book fair in Oxford.
