Background/Personality: I love the concept of there being a polar for Moonlight cookie (dont know if that was your intention or not). and I LOVE (underlined) Sunlight being vengeful even though the sun symbolizes positivity, but she uses the shiny exterior to hide her true intentions behind.Ok, i dont know how much backstory you give away through answering asks, my knowledge comes from some of the answers and the information you give through your description. I would work on why Sunlight was locked away. What made her a failed creation? was it in her ingredients or was she just labeled as "failed" for all the wrong reasons. This past story could be really interesting, but like i said you probably already have this all said somewhere, i just didnt see it.
Design: I like the implement of the sun key, again complementing Moonlight's design.sparkles on the hair? A+ I like the one sleeve overlay on the dress, that's an iconic design.one thing i see a problem with is the color scheme. Using yellows is a good choice but it's too overwhelming and way too almost all the came color... One thing to avoid this is to create multiple color schemes with the current colors for Sunlight you already use. So like you can even cjust choose a few yellow-orange colors, or white.... you should look at some characters and note the colors of the clothes theyre wearing and how it sets a certian tone.

OOHH ok i think i've thought about this one time.. but hmm i see Matcha as pretty reclusive and probably living in a cottage in the middle of the forest. With all her laughing things i kinda saw her as kind of evil(?) br now thinking about it more it can be interpreted as those really cute laughs old people have.. She's really easily amused.ok I FULLY SUPPORT MATCHA BEING A GRANDMOTHER/MOM FIGURE FOR HERB. but now i have a headcanon...Herb was in need of some new plants bc he was looking for a flower or plant that was more exotic. He heard that there was this lady they knew who grew some really pretty herbs and plants from the forest. He thought it sounded shady but he did it anyways... ends up Matcha hadnt had company in so long and Herb being so young and full of positive energy made her feel like she had a grandson or son. He often made he laugh a lot...
