1. I study music education at university because I want to someday teach people to sing so that they can be as happy as I am when I sing.

2. My iTunes library is hella diverse; I can’t shuffle it at parties because I will get some progression like: Muse - Beethoven - Ingrid Michaelson - Up Soundtrack - Imagine Dragons - David Byrne - Mahler

3. I’m reading Tina Fey’s Bossypants right now and it’s rocking my world

4. I am chubby all over but for the first time I am really learning to love myself rolls and all, while simultaneously working on being more healthy. God bless the body positivity movement.

5. I watch too many shows but that’s okay I love them.

6. I really like to write and draw but I’m not super good at either so I tend to keep my work to myself.  I don’t mind this though, because I have journals and sketchbooks that act as chronicles of my time growing up.

Ukraine Update

I think I'll do these daily now....

The situation remains the same. Fights are still going on in the heart of the city. The difference is severe injuries. There were cases of limb amputations and removing of eyeballs due to the fact that Berkut (the riot police) started using traumatic guns against the protesters. The journalists are walking bullseyes now. There were cases of berkuts aiming for the cameras.

The President refused to renounce the laws. And he refused to parlay with the opposition as well.

There were units of reinforcements of riot police sent from the south of Ukraine. (Odessa, namely) However, the activists of Euromaidan-Odessa have been blocking their way to Kiev.

That's all I can think of at the moment.
