Jellyfish! I wanted to paint something relatively simple to prevent myself from aiming too high again. And to prevent myself from using this sketchbook for 'masterpieces' only. When starting this new sketchbook I promised to myself to use this sketchbook for literally anything. From the ugliest doodles to the best thought through-works. But after only a few pages I realized I wasn't using it for simple and loose stuff at all. That's why I chose to paint some simple jellyfish. The one on the left is painted in indigo from Winser&Newton Cotman colours. I painted it yesterday on my birthday! After finishing that one, I moved to the green (viridian hue, also fron W&N) jellyfish but had to go out and didn't return to it. So I finished it this morning. You can see I am much more comfortable with blues than I am with greens! 😅 What do you usually do when you want to losen up your artsy moments? . . . #jellyfish #jellyfishart #jellyfishartwork #jellyfishpainting #watercolourpainting #watercolors #seacreatures #animalart #animalpainting #watercoloursketch #sketchbookart #sketchbookpainting #watercoloursketch #paintsketch #sketchbookpage #paintingoftheday #sketchoftheday #drawingoftheday #instaart #artistofinstagram #instaartist https://www.instagram.com/p/B_pDGWvnMqj/?igshid=19i1xicv58600
