Greed, Jealousy, and Hate
see it seems as though we live in a society where the successes and triumphs of others are viewed as a threat to our own achievements…
so instead of helping our neighbors and loving our brothers and sisters in times of our own financial, emotional, and physical abundance. we would rather bask in our own glory than lend a helping hand, greed.
and in the moments when we are passengers in the car of someone else’s happiness, instead of rejoicing and celebrating with genuine love we throw shade and behind close doors fantasies about sabotage. jealousy.
and for some of us, unfortunately seeing anyone do better than ourselves only serves as a validation for our own inner demond’s burdens and showcasing our inferiorities, moreover we resort to belittling & bashing the success and tribulations of the people in our surroundings that’s are just trying to become somebody in this world, the people who much like ourselves, have a voice their just trying to have hear. hate
enough, this is a time to rewrite our pasts in hopes that tomorrow we’re selfless. where my neighbors can come to me in there time of need & know i got them
where my peers will probably see a 6 figure salary before i’ve even had a chance to drag myself up from under the claws of these students loans, & that despite my fit lack of a better term “broke ass” I’ll be happy for them bc they made it out alive. let us rewrite the worlds atlast
