Carnation is Rouge's brother and is married to his high school sweetheart Peony. They have a daughter named Lilly. Carnation and his family live in the big city, traveling to Magenta Creek frequently. Carnation is very hesitant on meeting anyone be it family or strangers, he likes to keep his distance. Even so his niece and nephew always wiggle their way into his heart.
